WOODBRIDGE
Unless otherwise stated, all workshops cost £40 per term
(that's 10 sessions) or £10 concessions.
About the workshops
The workshops are run by professional musicians, all carefully
selected for their relevant and specialist experience. Many are
gigging musicians, while others have broader music industry
backgrounds – so whether you’re in to playing, dj-ing, song writing
or gig management, Amplifier can help you develop your skills.
They are open to anyone aged between 11 and 25, and take place
in a variety of venues, from commercial studio premises to youth
clubs and arts centres. They run in the evenings and at
weekends at a price affordable to all; there is also a
concessionary rate.
We provide a broad range of equipment, from percussion and
guitars to decks and keyboards. Participants may also bring their
own instruments, but please be aware that use of your electrical
equipment will be subject to a visual check by the tutors, and
participants will not be allowed to use any piece of equipment that
fails that check.
Amplifier and your organisation
Amplifier can also provide tailor-made workshops, from one-off
events to programmes of sessions running over several weeks. Our
tutors, all of whom are fully CRB checked, are experienced at
working with arts access agencies, Pupil Referral Units and within
the prison service, and also receive regular training and updates
relating to working with vulnerable groups.
If you would like to know more about how Amplifier could provide
for your rock and pop needs, please contact the
